PDHC Receives Historic Preservation Award

Award signOn Thursday, May 30, 2013, the City of Pasadena held its 2013 Historic Preservation Awards at Pasadena Museum of History.  The PDHC founders – Martha Camacho, Mary Ann Laun, Laura Verlaque, Linda Stewart, Dan McLaughlin, and Michelle Turner – along with DHP Intern Jessenia Montoya were presented with an award for education by Commission Chair Darrell Cozen.  Other honorees included Kate Sherlock for the restoration of the Merwin House and American Express Travel & Lifestyle Service for the restoration of 599 E. Colorado Boulevard, Mark and Tiffany Harris for the rehabilitation of the Henry Ware House, BJ’s Restaurants, Inc. for adaptive reuse, and the Dervaes Family for the Preservation of their residence, also known as Urban Homestead.  PDHC is proud to be among the honorees!
